I had a pretty good reading month thanks to Spring Break! I hope y’all had a good reading month as well. I also hope that y’all enjoy seeing what books I read during March. Maybe y’all can add a few to your tbr if you’ve never read them.
1. Blood of Wonderland by Colleen Oakes
Rating: 4/5 Stars
This book is the second book in the Queen of Hearts series and I really liked it! It kept my attention and had some really good plot twists.
2. My Sister Rosa by Justine Larbalestier
Rating: 3/5 Stars
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. I was just very disappointed by this book. It didn’t really seem like a thriller to me even though some people have put it in that genre. It was still interesting, but disappointing.
3. Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi
Rating: 4/5 Stars
I really liked the fun and colorful aspect of this book. It’s pretty different and like I said before it’s just fun. I love these fantasy worlds so I loved being in this one! I also really liked the story this book told.
4. Iceman by Chris Lynch
Rating: 2/5 Stars
This book was just bad. I didn’t like the story at all, actually I felt like it was hardly even telling a story in the first place. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because of the ending and the fact that it has hockey and I love hockey. The ending isn’t even something I lied that much. This whole book was boring and I just wanted to get it over with.
5. Heaven Id For Real by Todd Burpo
Rating: 5/5 Stars
I loved this quick and easy read. It was so cute and I just loved reading about this little boy’s experience with heaven and how the parents chose to handle it and how they chose to look at things. I just really loved this book I thought it was a simple and easy read and a cute little story.
6. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
Rating: 5/5 Stars
This book was so amazing! I decided to finally read it, because they are coming out with the movie soon and the trailer seemed so good I had to finally read this book! I really loved the story it told and the plot twist it had in there since I’m just really bad at predicting things haha.
7. The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida
Rating: 4/5 Stars
I really loved this book. It gave me a different perspective on autism and it was just interesting overall. It was also a quick read, I finished it in a day, and it was different from most of my reads.
8. Platypus Police Squad: The Frog Who Croaked by Jarrett J. Krosoczka
Rating: 4/5 Stars
I really liked this book. It was just a fun, easy, and quick read that was also a well needed break from ya. Plus I love middle grade and animals so what better book to read than this one?
Overall I had a good reading month! I didn’t manage to finish the last two books in the series like I wanted to but I’m still happy with how I did. I hope y’all had a good reading month and enjoyed seeing all the books I read in March!
