July Wrap-Up

Here are all the books I read in the month of July. I hope y’all enjoy seeing the books I read along with the mini reviews I write. Enjoy! 🙂

1. The Call by Peadar O’Guilin

Rating: 4/5 stars

I found this book to be a little slow at times, but it got really good towards the end. I didn’t think it was scary like I’ve heard, but it was still really interesting. Overall it was a pretty good read, but I think it might have been a little over hyped.

2. What I Lost by Alexandra Ballard

Rating: 5/5 stars

I really liked this book. I got it this month and I’m so happy I read it, because I don’t think there are enough books that talk about such serious issues. I like reading books that don’t sugar-coat mental illness and this book didn’t do that. It was a very good read.

3. Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith

Rating: 3/5 stars

I thought this book was good, but it could get a little slow at times. Also, I found it could be kind of predictable which in turn makes it a tad boring. However, I found the idea of the main character telling the story of how her best friend won the lottery very interesting. I just wish it was done a little better. Side note I love the cover of this book!

4. Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell

Rating: 5/5 stars

I don’t want to say too much because I will have a review up for it. However, I really loved this book! If you’re looking for a good contemporary with lots of love then this is the book for you! It was such a cute story!

Anyway, that’s my July Wrap-Up! I hope y’all enjoyed it! I didn’t read a lot, but four books isn’t too bad! What did y’all read this month? Comment below! I would love to know! 🙂
