I bought six books when I was only planning on buying one…that always seems to happen haha. It’s a strange thing, really! Anyway, let’s just get into the haul.
Oh one more thing! I got all these books from Book Outlet 🙂
1. Fault Line by Christa Desir
Synopsis: Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl — sarcastic free-spirit, Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want.
But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone.
Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame?
Ben wants to help her, but she refuses to be helped. The more she pushes Ben away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves.
2. Mush! Sled Dogs With Issues by Glenn Eichler and Joe Infurnari
Synopsis: Venus wants Buddy to quit asking her to “make puppies.”
Buddy wants Winston’s help wooing Venus.
Winston wants Guy’s respect.
Guy wants Dolly’s job.
Dolly wants to know the meaning of it all.
Nobody knows what Fiddler really wants, not even Fiddler.
But mostly…the sled dogs just want to run.
It should be, but even dogs have their office politics.
And let’s not even start on their humans.
3. Buzz Aldrin Mission To Mars: My Vision for Space Exploration by Buzz Aldrin
Synopsis: Legendary “space statesman” Buzz Aldrin speaks out as a vital advocate for the continuing quest to push the boundaries of the universe as we know it. As a pioneering astronaut who first set foot on the moon during mankind’s first landing of Apollo 11–and as an aerospace engineer who designed an orbital rendezvous technique critical to future planetary landings–Aldrin has a vision, and in this book he plots out the path he proposes, taking humans to Mars by 2035.
4./5. No One Else Can Have You and Nothing Bad Is Going To Happen by Kathleen Hale
Synopsis of No One Else Can Have You: Small towns are nothing if not friendly. Friendship, Wisconsin (population: 689 688) is no different. Around here, everyone wears a smile. And no one ever locks their doors. Until, that is, high school sweetheart Ruth Fried is found murdered. Strung up like a scarecrow in the middle of a cornfield.
Unfortunately, Friendship’s police are more adept at looking for lost pets than catching killers. So Ruth’s best friend, Kippy Bushman, armed with only her tenacious Midwestern spirit and Ruth’s secret diary (which Ruth’s mother had asked her to read in order to redact any, you know, sex parts), sets out to find the murderer. But in a quiet town like Friendship—where no one is a suspect—anyone could be the killer.
6. Windwitch by Susan Dennard
I’m not going to give a synopsis of this book for obvious reasons.
I hope y’all enjoyed my little haul! Also, if you haven’t looked at Book Outlet I definitely would!!! They have such amazing books with amazing deals! It’s one of my favorite places to shop for books. Also, I’m not being paid to say this it’s just true haha. Have a great day! ❤
