I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy holidays! I hope y’all got some stuff that y’all asked for! Comment below some of your favorite gifts you received this Christmas! I got some books that I am super excited to read and I also got tea along with an amazing mug! I’m very thankful! I got so many things I’m happy about but let’s get on with the post shall we?
This post is something I created in order to talk about new releases I’m excited about. However, I decided that from now on it’ll just be about books I’m excited to read. It may be a book not yet release or it may be about a book that’s been out and I’m just excited to read. I decided to change it because there are so many books out that I’m excited to read and they’re definitely worth the hype. I get more excited about books that are already out, because I know more about them and see them more than I hear about books coming out.
I figured this would make the post more fun and maybe easier for people to discuss books they’re excited about that they own but have yet to pick up! Anyway, make sure you comment some books you’re excited about! Or suggest some new reads that I should check out! ❤
When a bouncy, barky dog and an evil genius guinea pig move into the same house, the laughs are nonstop! Wedgie is so excited, he can’t stop barking. He LOVES having new siblings and friends to protect. He LOVES guinea pigs like Gizmo! He also LOVES treats!
But Gizmo does not want to share his loyal human servant with a rump-sniffing beast! He does not want to live in a pink Barbie Playhouse. Or to be kissed and hugged by the girl human. Gizmo is an evil genius. He wants to take over the world and make all humans feel his wrath. But first he must destroy his archenemy, Wedgie, once and for all!
I picked this book up not too long ago and I’m super pumped to read it! It’s a quick read consisting of only 150 pages and it looks like such a fun/funny read!
The first thing that drew me to this book was the cover, because I’m a fan of corgis even though I’ve never owned one. I read the synopsis and thought this sounded like such a cute and silly read, which is great for slumps! It is indeed a middle grade novel, but I couldn’t be more excited to read it! I’m very happy I purchased this book, because it seems like a great book to end the year with. 🙂
This book also deals with a guinea pig, which y’all know if y’all read the synopsis, and I love guinea pigs! I had a guinea pig and he was such a cutie so reading a book about an evil one sounds so funny!
What do y’all think? Yea or nay? Do any of y’all read middle grade books? Comment below so we can chat!
