Unicorn Read-A-Thon Wrap-Up

I didn’t reach my goal for this read-a-thon (check my TBR here) but I’m very happy with how much I’ve read. I managed to read a total of three books, which isn’t too bad since it’s been a crazy week. Let’s get into what I read. 🙂

1. A Fairy’s Guide to Disaster by A.W. Hartoin

This book wasn’t too bad. It was a pretty quick and easy read for this read-a-thon. 🙂 It’s part of a series though and I don’t think I’ll be finishing it. Not that this book was horrible or anything I just don’t really want to finish the series. This book was very cute though. 🙂

2. The Mosque Hill Fortune by Vivienne Mathews

This book was really good. It started off a little slow which made it kind of hard to get into, but afterwards it picked up and really got good. I haven’t read too many books, if any, involving pirates so it was definitely different and very cool. I really loved the adventure and action in this book. Plus there were lots of great twists. 🙂

3. Guardian’s Rise by Vivienne Mathews

This is the second book in the series and I really liked it. There was even more action and adventure in this one. There were even more twists too haha. However, at the end of the book it said that there would be a third book coming soon…well both of these books were published five years ago. I don’t know if Vivienne is actually working on a third book or not but it kind of bothers me to have read these two and then find out there will be a third book…but that five years have passed and it’s not out. I don’t know…just bothers me haha. I just want to finish this series if there is a third book because I actually liked these books. They were very, very well written.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this read-a-thon. 🙂 I liked what I read and thought it was very fun. 🙂 I hope everyone has a great day today ❤
