April Wrap-Up

Here are all the books I managed to read in April! Not as many as I was hoping but still happy with the amount. 🙂

birds of a feather

1. Birds of a Feather by Lorin Lindner

Rating: 4/5 stars

I really enjoyed this book! You can read my full review here. I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I was starting this book, but it did a great job at catching my attention and not letting it go. There’s just so much I never knew and this book did a great job explaining things. It’s a very inspiring and eye-opening read!

the last thing I saw

2. The Last Thing I Saw by Alex Sinclair

Rating: 4/5 stars

This book was really good! It kept my reading, wondering, and guessing! Since it managed to pull me in so quickly I was able to read it pretty fast! 🙂 You can read my full review here if you’re interested! It was creepy yet exciting! A good thriller.

3. A Fairy’s Guide to Disaster by A.W. Harton

Rating: 2.5/5 stars

I think this is a cute book, but I don’t think it’s for me. It’s a very quick, simple, and easy read. There’s not too much depth into it and it’s pretty predictable, but I still think it’s really cute. I probably won’t be finishing this series, but who knows haha.

4. The Mosque Hill Fortune by Vivienne Mathews

Rating: 4/5 stars

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I wasn’t sure I would like it because it started off kind of slow and didn’t really peak my interest. However, as the book continued on I really started to enjoy it and get into it. I started to fall in love with the characters and their stories. I also like that the characters are animals haha.

guardian's rise

5. Guardian’s Rise by Vivienne Mathews

Rating: 4/5 stars

I liked this book a lot. It’s so well written and it does a great job at capturing your attention and keeping it too. I loved all the action, adventure, and twists this book contained. It’s too bad the third book wasn’t written though. 😦

meditation and yoga

6. Meditation & Yoga by Dr. Yogini Shubh Veer

Rating: 3/5 stars

You can read my full review here. I thought this was a pretty interesting and infrmative book, but it was more towards the religious side of yoga and meditation and that wasn’t what I was looking for. However, I did like learning about the religious side of yoga and meditation. I thought that was pretty cool.

stick pick

7. Stick Pick by Steven Sandor

Rating: 1.5/5 stars

Click here to read my full review! I was disappointed by this book. I wanted to love it but I just couldn’t. I don’t think the book was developed very well and I think if it was that I would like this book a lot more. I also wasn’t a big fan of Janine, the main character, and that’s kind of a big thing for me haha.

her greatest mistake

8. Her Greatest Mistake by Sarah Simpson

Rating: 3/5 stars

My full review for this book is here. I thought this book was okay. I wasn’t in love with it but I didn’t hate it. I thought Sarah did a great job with description and writing but I just didn’t fall in love with this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers or mystery books. 🙂
