How Well Does Goodreads Know Me?

I recently saw this meme and decided to start doing it. Check out my first post here! ūüôā

The idea is to get 5 (or however many you want) books that Goodreads recommends to you and then decide if you want to add them to your TBR or not! Sounds simple enough haha.

Based on your to-read shelf:

my life as a wite trash zombie.jpg

1. My Life as a White Trash Zombie by Diana Rowland. This book was recommended to me because Akata Warrior is on my to-read shelf.

I honestly love this cover so much! It’s what drew me in right away. It sounds pretty interesting too, but I’m not sure I want to read it that much. It’s a series and like y’all should know by now I don’t really love series’. Still has a beautiful cover and sounds cool!

TBR: No

Based on your read shelf:

2. The Boy in the Black Suit by Jason Reynolds. This book was suggested to me because I read Everything, Everything.

This book actually sounds pretty interesting. I also loved¬†Everything, Everything¬†so I have high hopes for this one. I really hope it doesn’t let me down haha. I’ll try to check it out at my library as soon as I can! ūüôā

TBR: Yes and soon!

Based on your interest in fiction:

3. Ace, King, Knave by Maria McCann. I was recommended this book because I read Church of Marvels.

This book sounds interesting and I did like¬†Church of Marvels¬†but I don’t think I’ll add this to my TBR because I’m not a huge fan of historical fiction haha. Sometimes it can be hard for me to get into.

TBR: No

Based on your interest in horror:

the sallie house haunting

4. The Sallie House Haunting by Debra Pickman. This was suggested to me because I read Ghosts of the McBride House.

This book sounds kinda interesting. I like paranormal things especially if they’re true. It just makes it all the creepier. I read a few of the reviews because I find it’s hard to spoil non-fiction books and quite a bit of people didn’t like this book. I honestly feel like I would probably give this book three stars or something. Plus, my library doesn’t have it and I don’t feel like I would love it enough to ever purchase it.

TBR: Not this time

Based on your interest in paranormal:

5. Perdita by Faith Gardner. This was recommended because I read the Asylum series.

I don’t really like the sound of this book. It just doesn’t interest me that much which obviously isn’t a good sign haha. Plus, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the¬†Asylum¬†series either. I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t amazing or anything. I think it had it’s moments though. I just feel like this book would be like two stars for me..I mean I could be wrong obviously but I don’t think I feel like reading it. Maybe my mind will change one day haha.

TBR: Sorry! It’s gotta be no.

So, Goodreads didn’t do a good job this time haha. Oh well maybe next time! I hope y’all enjoyed this post!! ‚̧
