1. In His Image by Jen Wilkin

Rating: 4/5 stars

Here is my full review if anyone is interested! I really liked this book and I wanna read more of Jen’s books. This book is really inspiring and helpful to me. It was also very eye-opening. 🙂

mary the summoning

2. Mary: The Summoning by Hillary Monahan

Rating: 4/5 stars

I wasn’t expecting to be creeped out by this book but I definitely was! It probably doesn’t help that I watch a lot of horror movies so I imagine Bloody Mary so perfectly haha. Not to mention Hillary does an amazing job at describing her! Such a creepy read that it made it hard to read at night haha. Would definitely recommend. 🙂

the weight of zero

3. The Weight of Zero by Karen Fortunati

Rating: 5/5 stars

I loved this book so much. I honestly didn’t think I would love it as much as I did but I was so pleasantly surprised. This book made me feel so many things and I was able to connect to this book which doesn’t happen often and I just loved it so much. It threw so many things at me and it was just beautifully written. This book does talk about some serious and/or triggering topics so only read this if you can handle it.

4. Cut by Patricia McCormick

Rating: 1/5 stars

This book was just bad and disappointing. I didn’t like Callie, the main character, and I felt that she was so flat and boring. I also felt like everything about this book was rushed and nothing actually got developed. It was only about 170 pages after all. I didn’t like anything about this book and I just wanted it to be over with.

wedgie and gizmo vs. the toof

5. Wedgie & Gizmo vs. the Toof

Rating: 4/5 stars

After some of the series read I needed an easy, quick, and silly read. This book was perfect for that! It was so silly but very cute too! I didn’t like it as much as I liked Wedgie & Gizmo but it was still super cute haha.

the yeti files

6. The Yeti Files: Meet The Bigfeet by Kevin Sherry

Rating: 4/5 stars

This book was so cute! It only took about ten minutes to read haha. It’s a very, very simple and quick read but very cute too! It’s such a silly book as well. I enjoyed it! 🙂

7. Geekerella by Ashley Poston

Rating: 3/5 stars

I had really high expectations. I wouldn’t exactly say I was let down but my expectations weren’t met. However, I wasn’t upset about it because this book is still really cute. I was kind of able to connect with Elle. Only a little bit and that just made the book feel a little more special. I thought this book was super cheesy and cliche but it’s not something that was done poorly or bothered me haha. I thought this book was cute though and I’m still glad to have finally picked it up.

the secret

8. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

Rating: 4/5 stars

I really liked this book. For me it was very eye-opening and helpful. It’s about the Law of Attraction and I just found it to be so interesting and cool. I also loved reading the different stories that people share. It makes it easier to put things into perspective for me anyway. 🙂

This is my wrap-up. I was hoping to read a lot more, but FA training has kept me too busy. I won’t have a TBR this month for obvious reasons haha.

Have a great day everyone!

    1. Considering I went from not doing anything to having a job I’ll have less time in that aspect, but I think I should have a lot of time to read since I’ll be new and I’ll have to be on reserve for a while. I’ll definitely figure out how to manage the two 🙂
