August Wrap-Up

choose wonder over worry

1. Choose Wonder Over Worry by Amber Rae

Rating: 3/5 stars

You can read my full review here. I liked this book but I didn’t find myself taking a lot from it. I felt a lot of it was stuff I already knew. I did love hearing her own personal stories though and I loved that she included little journal prompts. 🙂

a guy like me

2. A Guy Like Me by John Scott

Rating: 4/5 stars

I really liked this book! I’m a fan of John Scott and I really like learning more about his life and his career. It’s so interesting to see where hockey players get started and everything they go through. So much respect for this guy and all he’s done. 🙂

salt

3. Salt by Hannah Moskowitz

Rating: 2/5 stars

You can read my amazing full review here!! I really didn’t enjoy this book like I thought I would. I was expecting to love this book but it’s just so underdeveloped. I feel like this book has all the potential to be amazing but just fell flat.

you become what you think about

4. You Become What You Think About by Vic Johnson

Rating: 2.5/5 stars

I didn’t think this book was bad but I didn’t think it was anything amazing or ground breaking either. It was just an okay book. I felt like most of it was kind of common sense or stuff I already knew. It had a few things that I liked, but other than that it was just okay.

my husband's wife

5. My Husband’s Wife by Jane Corry

Rating: 3/5 stars

This was just an okay book to me. I thought it could drag on and it could get a little boring. It had an interesting story but there were just some things that I found to be weird about this book too but that’s just me haha. Don’t wanna spoil anything.

Sadly my reading got really bad at the end of the month. I definitely could have finished two more books but I was lazy and just having a rough time, so I’ll be working on them for September. Hope y’all had a great reading month!!! ❤
