October Blues

Hey y’all. I’m trying to be better about posting on my blog. Unfortunately I have some bad news. As y’all may or may not know I live with my grandparents and they have a lot of cute cats. ❤ Unfortunately one of our cats passed away, Chester. He seemed fine yesterday…it’s sad how sudden things can happen. Just a reminder to always let others know how much you love them, person or animal.

I woke up really early this morning at 4 a.m. and after a while I went to use the bathroom and noticed the living room lights were on and there was a towel on the floor. I saw that no one seemed to be home. By this time it was probably 6 a.m. I sent a quick prayer to God hoping both my grandparents were okay. I went back to my room and assumed someone would let me know eventually if something was wrong.

Chester was already sick, but I figured he had more time left. It broke my heart when my grandparents told me they had to put him down due to a blood clot in his heart. He was a sweet kitty and I loved him so much.

If you couldn’t tell I get attached to animals quickly, but I grew up with Chester. He’s been around for so long. I remember seeing him every time we came to visit and I got even more attached to him since I’ve been living here. He was 14 years old and even though it breaks my heart I know he’s perfectly healthy up there with God, getting all the love he could ever dream of. I know my grandparents are broken up about it too, but it’s life and it’ll just take time for this wound to heal.

Give your pet some extra love today or let a loved one know that you’re thinking of them. ❤ Have a blessed day y’all. ❤
