So today’s love post is gonna be about coffee and tea. I know a lot of book bloggers and bookworms are definitely tea and coffee lovers! I love both a lot! So, I figured maybe this could be a fun post discussing some of my favorites. 🙂
I know it’s so cliché and everyone loves Starbucks, but I can’t help it! I love Starbucks, but I don’t think it’s the best coffee ever. Is it overpriced? Absolutely. Is it good? Absolutely. Is it the best coffee ever? Nah. I’m not overly picky about coffee as long as it’s got flavor and something to sweeten it. I don’t enjoy black coffee at all haha.
Some of my favorites to get from Starbucks would be: chai tea latte hot/iced, caramel latte hot/iced, usually anything seasonal is good, caramel frappuccino (or any kind for the most part), etc. I’m not super picky about what I get. I usually go there for caffeine which is why I usually stick to something with coffee and I also like to taste the coffee which is why I usually don’t get anything mocha. If I get tea I always get a chai tea latte because it’s the best.
I also have a Keurig at home so I use that a lot when I don’t plan on going out, early mornings, or late nights. I usually only go to Starbucks when I have to go run errands or when I’m in the airport and have the time. Oh also, I do have Starbucks rewards because I figured I might as well get rewarded for my Starbucks spending haha.
Anyway, what I usually use in my Kurig! (K-pod specific) I say that because I also use my Kurig for hot water for tea but right now I’ll talk about K-pods I use. So, my grandparents got me a lot of different ones and I actually like them a lot. I use the hot chocolate and mexican hot chocolate one often, hazelnut cappuccino (absolute favorite), caramel cappuccino, pumpkin spice (never been a huge fan of this flavor but it’s not too bad), french vanilla cappuccino, lemon zinger tea, and Starbucks cafe blend (2 step drink mix). I mostly stick to cappuccino mixes because they’re already mixed and I don’t have to add creamer or anything. Like I said the hazelnut is my favorite and I’ll need to buy more soon haha.
Tea that I love to drink (tea bags not K-pods): stress relief (brand- Yogi), detox (Yogi), bedtime (Yogi), cinnamon vanilla (Yogi), chai (any brand), salted caramel (Bigelow), raspberry (Celestial Seasonings), peach (Celestial Seasonings), blueberry (Celestial seasonings), and peppermint (Celestial Seasonings). I’m gonna be honest with y’all I’m not a huge fan of the taste of the detox tea or the stress relief, but it’s not horrible to where I can’t drink it. I usually only drink those when I feel I need them. The bedtime tea is super helpful on nights when I need a little bedtime boost haha it helps me at least get in the bedtime mindset. I love fruit teas probably the most other than chai! The cinnamon vanilla tea is also really good and it promotes healthy skin. 🙂 I have a lot of these teas and they last a good time depending on how often you drink tea. 🙂 Some brands are obviously more pricey but they’re not too bad. I like to pack a few tea bags on my trips for when I’m chillin’ in the hotel.
I usually add sugar to my tea because that’s what the hotel always has. When I’m on a flight I’ll add cream and sugar to my tea. I can drink tea black, but I prefer not to if I can help it haha. I don’t drink tea every day but I drink it pretty often. I usually pick one or the other so if I have coffee that day then chances are I won’t be having tea and vise versa haha. Oh, I also love honey in tea which is usually what I stick to for a sweetener but it depends if we have it or not. For coffee I try to only add creamer if we got it, which I usually don’t hence why I stick to already mixed ones. On flights I have to add cream and sugar because that stuff is nasty it could burn a hole through the plane its gross I don’t know how passengers like it haha. I only started drinking it when I need to wake up and because I’m trying to cut my Starbucks costs down. Gotta save up for my “expensive” lifestyle. 😉
I think that’s all I have to say about that….thanks for reading! If anyone did read this haha. Comment below some of your favorite coffees or teas! Or if you have a way of preparing your tea I would love to know. ❤
