February’s Lots-Of-Love Day 17

I thought today I would make this post a little more bookish. Still trying to think of how I want to do that…While I think of what to write might as well do a little self promotion right? If you’re new to this little series I’m doing just go check out some of my other posts. πŸ™‚ All kinds of good stuff I promise!

So, today’s love themed post is gonna be about some books I loved when I was younger. πŸ™‚ By the way they’re in no particular order.

the rainbow fish

I absolutely loved this book and I still really love it. I ju think it’s such a cute book and obviously they shiny/sparkly bits add to the whole experience haha. The fish is also really cute. I didn’t even realize this book was originally written in German..that’s really cool. πŸ™‚

Junie B

I absolutely devoured these books as a kid. πŸ™‚ These books are all so silly and full of quirky things. How can you not love them? πŸ˜€ I just loved Junie B. and how many weird things she did and how dorky she was. I also loved her little adventures haha.

HungryCaterpillar

This one is a classic!!! How can anyone not like this book? Is that even possible haha. It’s just so cute and I actually like the artwork. I don’t know if everyone else does but I really do. πŸ™‚

i spy

This book brings back a lot of memories. Well theΒ I SpyΒ books in general that is. I remember when I was younger sitting there with my dad trying to find everything. It’s such a simple but wonderful memory that I love so much. Sometimes the small things can mean the most. ❀

chicka chicka boom boom

I think my sister was the one who got this book. I’m pretty sure it was a favorite of hers but i remember reading it too. It’s such a cute book. I think all of these books are pretty cute…in their own way right? Haha

seekers

I’ve already talked about how much I love Erin Hunter’s books. I love books where animals are the main characters. TheΒ SeekersΒ series was definitely a big deal to me. I remember checking out the books from the library and just sitting in my room and reading so, so much. Like I said sometimes it’s the small things that matter most. πŸ™‚ I don’t think I ever finished this series. If I’m honest I would love to reread it. πŸ˜€

nancy drew

I was a fan of these books that’s for sure. I think they’re good mysteries especially for the younger crowd because they’re not gory or too dark yanno? My library had a lot of them and I would do my best to read them in order. It’s funny to remember how easy they were to spot with their bright yellow spines. πŸ™‚

dr seuss

Growing up we had a huge stack of Dr. Seuss books. I loved them all so much. They’re just fun, silly, and colorful reads. I remember just picking them off the shelf and reading through them quickly or reading them with our parents. They’re just such fun reads.

a series of unfortunate events

I never finished this series but I wish I did because I absolutely loved these books. I would love to own all of them one day. I don’t even remember how far I got into these books, but they’re really interesting.

jane on her own

This book I read in like second grade I believe. I remember that the cats could fly but nothing else and I remember that I absolutely loved this book. Maybe because it was just so crazy to me seeing the cats with wings. I would love to read this book again just to see what it’s like.

I hope y’all liked this post. Seeing some of my childhood favorites. πŸ™‚ COmment below if you have any childhood favorites. I would love to know! πŸ™‚
