Fly With Me

I’m Still A Flight Attendant

So, I just had recurrent which is just them making sure I can still do my job and making sure I know what to do in the event of an emergency. That also means it’s almost been a year since I’ve become a flight attendant! Isn’t that crazy?? It’s already been a year! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by. Anyway, recurrent was only for two days and I passed everything so I’m still a flight attendant haha.

In other news I haven’t been reading too much because the day I left for recurrent I also got sick. I don’t know how some of y’all can read so much when y’all are sick because when I’m sick I can’t do anything haha. More power to those of you who can read like 10 books while you’re sick.

I honestly haven’t been working that much this month and I’m gonna be honest it’s been nice. Last month I was working like crazy so it’s nice to have some breaks this month. I mean I still love being a flight attendant but it is a very tiring job. So, having some sort of break from it was pretty nice. Being able to just relax and not think about waiting on passengers for a while helped haha. I have a few days off now before I have to go to work again. I’m hoping that by then I’m not sick because I hate working when I’m sick. And at the moment I can’t call out without getting points against me. So, that sucks but there’s nothing I can do about it.

Anyway, sorry for my little rant kind of haha. I hope y’all liked this little update.

  1. It definitely doesn’t seem like it has been a year since you became a flight attendant but congratulations!! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Also I’m right there with you, I can’t read when I’m sick.

  2. I hope you feel better when you go back to work, and I can’t read when I’m sick either 😂 I just feel like sleeping or not moving at all haha. Congratulations on one year being a flight attendant, perhaps one day I’ll finally decide to try and become one too😂

    1. I definitely recommend it. If you’re intimidated I would suggest trying out for a regional airline because they don’t fly overseas but you still get benefits. 🙂 And the training isn’t as extensive. 🙂 Also, yesssss I never feel like doing anything when I’m sick haha I wish I could read but I’m uber lazy when I don’t feel good haha
