March Wrap-Up

emergency contact

1. Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi

Rating: 3/5 Stars

I kept going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. As you can see I chose 3 haha. I liked this book for the most part but there were also quite a bit f things I didn’t like as well. Maybe I’m just being harsh though, but there were just things I didn’t really like in the book. I’m not gonna go into detail here.

miss you love you hate you bye

2. Miss You Love You Hate You Bye by Abby Sher

Rating: 2.5/5 Stars

I wasn’t the biggest fan of this book honestly. I mean it wasn’t the worst book. I think the biggest thing was that I didn’t like the characters. They annoyed me and they acted like 12-year-olds not juniors in high school. The characters were probably the biggest reason I didn’t like this book…maybe if they were written a lil better. Oh, and if the book actually expanded on some of the things brought up. It makes the book feel rushed when they bring things up and it just gets kinda brushed aside, yanno?

i hope this reaches her in time

3. I Hope This Reaches Her In Time by R.H. Sin

Rating: 3/5 Stars

This was a very quick read. It only took like 30 minutes to an hour. I thought it had some good messages and poems in it. I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more of his more recent work to see how much he’s grown as an author. 🙂

she felt like feeling nothing

4. She Felt Like Feeling Nothing by R.H. Sin

Rating: 3/5 Stars

Once again I enjoy his writing. I know a lot of people have problems with it, but I’m not super into poetry so maybe that’s why I like his because I don’t dig too much into it? I don’t know. I just like it. I like the quick reads and I like that his work is for empowering women. It’s easy to resonate with what he says.

I could have done a little better, but I’ve gotten kind of lazy. I just haven’t really felt like reading much. I’m not unhappy with March’s reading though. I think it went fairly well. 🙂
