As her father’s chosen heir, eighteen-year-old Rasmira has trained her whole life to become a warrior and lead her village. My Review:

I loved this book! I won’t include any spoilers in this review. Anyway, I just flew through this book because I was just gripped from the beginning! It’s been so long since I’ve been so engrossed in a novel! It filled me with so much joy.

I loved the characters and the twists in this story. I was pretty surprised how invested I was in this book. There were times I just couldn’t even think about putting it down as everything played out in my head. It had me guessing and trying to figure out what was going to happen. It still managed to surprise me even though I thought I had it all figured out.

This book did have a little romance in it as well. Even though the romance was extremely cheesy I still loved it. It was something I didn’t know I wanted haha. I loved the strong female main character and all the trials she goes through. It kept the book interesting and it was definitely action packed. I also loved seeing our main character grow throughout the novel.

I think for a stand-alone book this one is absolutely amazing. I definitely think that if were to be a series it would be even better if everything was played out over a few books and adding more detail. However, I’m not a big series reader so this stand-alone is right up my alley!

I am definitely gonna check out more of her novels in the future! I really enjoyed this book and still can’t believe how quickly I finished it. Such a good read!
