October Wrap-Up

These are all the books I managed to read for October!

verity

1. Verity by Colleen Hoover

Rating 4/5 Stars

You can see my full review here. I liked this book, but there were a few things that didn’t make much sense to me, but I don’t want to spoil anything, haha.

demon slayer vol 7

2. Demon Slayer Vol. 7 by Koyoharu Gotouge

Rating: 5/5 Stars

demon slayer vol 8

3. Demon Slayer Vol. 8 by Koyoharu Gotouge

Rating: 5/5 Stars

the quarterback and the ballerina

4. The Quarterback And The Ballerina by Anne-Marie Meyer and Maggie Dallen

Rating: 2/5 Stars

My full review is here. I thought this book was okay. It really lacks depth and could use more work in developing characters and the plot, if I’m honest. I wasn’t a huge fan of this book, but it was a pretty quick read, and I kind of expected it to be mediocre.

the demonologist

5. The Demonologist by Gerald Brittle

Rating: 4/5 Stars

I’ve actually read this book once before, but I decided to drop my rating down to 4 stars. This time I underlined and annotated, and I felt like this book was kind of lacking. I’m not gonna go into too much detail, though.

the shadows

6. The Shadows by Alex North

Rating: 4/5 Stars

demon slayer vol. 9

7. Demon Slayer Vol. 9 by Koyoharu Gotouge

Rating: 5/5 Stars

my hero academia vol 6

8. My Hero Academia Vol. 6 by Kohei Horikoshi

Rating: 3/5 Stars

I only picked this up because my library had it available. I like this series, but I definitely think this is the type of series that’s better to watch than read, but maybe I’m wrong I’m not sure, haha.

9. My Hero Academia Vol. 7 Kohei Horikoshi

Rating: 3/5 Stars

These are all the books I managed to read. I’m pretty happy with how this month went. I wish I had finished a few more books that were on my tbr, but it’s okay. I managed to read quite a bit of manga and a few books as well. I’m hoping next month is even better!
