Currently Reading:

So far I’m liking SEAL Of Honor because it’s got an interesting plot with some action and I wanna know what happens, but there hasn’t been much steam yet. That’s okay though haha the steam that has happened is a little ridiculous based on the circumstances but I love it anyway. I just think it’s a fun book to read and I probably won’t give it five stars, but who knows! There’s still quite a bit left I have to read so maybe it’ll change my mind!

I’m listening to the audiobook for The Green Mile while also reading the physical book as well. Just trying to get it read a little quicker that way. So far I like it. I don’t know if I really understand why it’s made up into parts if I’m honest…but maybe it’ll make sense when I’ve read more? I’m not a huge fan of King because I really don’t think he’s “the King of horror” like some claim. I think the movies based on his books are good and that’s why I read his books so I can watch the movies haha. I just think King is very detailed in his books and not in a great way. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s repetitive and unnecessary. I would like to read one of his newer novels though to see how his writing has changed because all the books I’ve read by him are in the 80’s or 90’s. If y’all have any suggestions on a book of his published after 2010 that I should read let me know haha. ❤

Recently Finished:

Both good reads this week! These both got four stars from me. 🙂 I thought Horimiya was very cute and I absolutely love the art! I really want to keep reading it and see how the relationship grows. It’s also made me want to watch the anime for it! It did feel a little slow at times though but I plan on buying volume two when I can! 🙂 

Beautiful Player was another fun and steamy read. I really liked the characters and I can’t wait to see how the series continues to progress. 🙂 I think they’re such fun reads and I love the romance as well as the steam in them. I really like the characters and even how past characters make little appearances in each of the books. 🙂 It’s definitely left me wanting more of Christina Lauren’s writing that’s for sure!

What’s Next:

Once I finish all the books I’m currently reading I’ll be focusing on this book. The end of the month is coming and I want to make sure I stay on top of my BOTM reading so I don’t fall behind haha. Plus I’m intrigued by this book and think it’ll be a good and thrilling read. 🙂
